Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The amazing students within my school's SPED unit classrooms consist of 22 outgoing, bright, and eager-to-learn students. Our SPED units have two Functional Living Skills classrooms focused on functional skills to help students flourish and be successful independently upon graduation. We also have one Total Communications classroom with students who are nonverbal and use various forms of communication to learn in the classroom every day.

With this technology support for our classrooms, the headphones will allow our students to engage with our online curriculum in a more independent and personalized way.

The charging ports will allow the students to have focused areas of the classroom to utilize their technology, whether they are engaging on their Chromebooks or iPads. Finally, the noise-canceling headphones will allow our students with additional sensory and communication needs to transition successfully throughout the school.
