Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of my students are making progress towards their individualized academic goals. Some need more incentives than others to complete tasks due to their disabilities.

All of my students are unique and learn in different ways and at different rates.

I have students in Transitional Kindergarten through fifth. Some students need help in Language Arts and/or Mathematics. They receive help in the areas they have most difficulty with. The students are all excited about learning new things and being successful. The students know that they are important, cared for and loved here at school.

My Project

Coloring and drawing can be very calming for some people.

These art supplies and books will allow my students to have a calming break after completing their assignments in class.

Some students like to express themselves through drawing. The new art supplies will give them something exciting to look forward to doing while they have a break. Some students draw a picture about their story in their journal. With the new colorful twistable crayons they can enjoy coloring in their books. The new chapter books are an excellent way to encourage more reading and get them excited about reading again.
