Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a high poverty school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch! I have high expectations that they will grow and learn beyond what is expected. We are learning skills such as robotics, coding, and typing along with our curriculum. School is a safe and happy place for my students. Each day, they come into the classroom excited about the day and spending time exploring and learning together. For many of my students, being at school is the best part of their day.

My Project

My students are a group of eager fourth graders who are ready to learn! Our class will learn throughout the day in small groups and the resources in this project will help us succeed with ease. The dry erase markers and dry erase sleeves will cut down on the number of copies made and make learning fun for students. The white circles will allow students to show their work while in a small teacher group. Having colored markers and pencils will allow students to have essential supplies when needed for reading and writing.

My students will be successful in meeting their individual learning goals while enjoying learning through reading, science, and math groups.
