My Project

These items will help to create a calming space where students who need a calming break, a sensory break, or just a break; can go to have that time. Away from the busyness of the classroom itself and being able to self-regulate in a way that teaches how. The light/sensory table will be used for play and for sensory/calming strategies. It can be used thematically, tying in to lessons; as well as something for the kids to sift through and find items. The calming/reading corner will have books from all genres and also books for learning social emotional skills.
