This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Registered Nurse in a large inner city school district. We have a large population of students with special needs. Some of the students are non verbal,but they communicate in other ways and may need the assistance of others to participate in classroom activities. The staff helps create an environment that is warm and inviting and brings out the special ability of every student.

We appreciate your donation to our school, and I am personally thankful to be given this opportunity to help get supplies for a special needs classroom who has wonderful students and a wonderful teacher and staff that works with them.

We all work together as a team to help bring out the best in each student.
