Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year we are a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades special needs classroom. I have 17 kiddos ( which makes a very busy classroom) who come from economically disadvantaged homes. Most do not have iPads or computers In the home. They love the chance to try new things and investigate the world. I give them the chance to see and to do things they might never get the chance to see or do. They are a fun and adventurous group of boys and girls.

My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in learning. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like to see how other kids like them access the world and how they can change their lives. My school and especially my classroom does not have access to quality technology, we have to use antiquated technology or outdated books.

This MacBook will help us connect with other students, opening up their minds to all the possibilities that this world holds.
