This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My small intervention groups are full of students who want to be engaged, but they need innovative technology and presentation methods in order to connect with the content being taught!

I work in a Title I school with a population that consists of many English Language Learners and economically disadvantaged students.

Student engagement is a constant challenge. The resources of this tablet and screen would allow me to create and model the use the use of technology needed to develop students who are 21st century learners!

My Project

I see small intervention groups in my room who come to work on their reading comprehension and study skills. I need a screen and tablet to create engaging lessons that will inspire them. I can teach reading skills, but also show them how technology can be integrated into their everyday learning.

Technology integration is vital to creating students who are college and career ready.

I need the basic tools of a screen and tablet to utilize all the great technology that is available. I am inspired by all the great tools available to teachers, but without these tools, I can not share them with my students. If I am to reach these students, I need to inspire their interest in reading and technology!
