My Project
Our school has several autistic students who have special needs to help them during the day. We would like to make sure each class has the supplies needed to make it possible for all our students to participate in the curriculum.
Our autistic students will benefit from visual schedules because it helps them understand and prepare for the daily routine.
All students learn differently, but our students with special needs require additional support to help them successfully function in a general education classroom. I am hoping to get a visual schedule and some sound-canceling headphones for each class that needs one in our building so all students have what they need to learn.
