My Project

My office is just that an office. It lacks the friendly welcoming decor for students to come in to reset and finish their work when necessary. I am searching for a comfortable space for students to come to complete work and/or need to reset. The office doesn't have a table for students to come and work at when they need extra help. My goal is to provide a welcoming environment to help students 1-1 with classwork and projects while building trust and relationships. This is a great way to help students feel special! When students come to my room, they want to do their best and this table/chair set and the bookcase will give them the chance to do their best work with me. The bookcase is another way to display books for children to enjoy. They can also use the shelves to display their work and plants to make the room feel welcoming, while I can use the filing cabinet as needed for confidential information.

Students who come to me are special because they need a person who can listen and help them in their time of need.

Creating a space like this with your help gives those students the extra support they need. The artwork in my room is from students who use my office as a safe space. Having a place to display more of their work and a table to work at will give the confidence to learn and grow as a student and human being.
