Special Needs Items, Reading Center Organization and Writing Items Needed
My students need items to help them with controlling fidgeting and storage containers to hold our new books. We also need speakers for the projector along with some supplies for writing.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students enter my classroom ready to take on the day. They leave all their worries behind and continue to have a smile on their faces. They love to write creative stories and read all of the new books that were given to us.
My students are a community of learners inside of the classroom and my wish is for them to continue learn to adapt in the real world.
They all learn new things in a different way. I am so proud of how far they have come and can't want to witness their continuous growth.
My Project
Our classroom has a wide range of students that have different needs. Some of the students have a tough time staying still in their seats to sit even through one lesson. The bouncy bands will help the students to stay focused without grabbing the attention of other students in the room.
Technology is important to our students to discover the world.
We are in need of classroom speakers to listen to our curriculum online and videos to build background knowledge. They also use the projector and speakers for breaks to refuel their brain.
Our writing center needs an overhaul. I have some students that need assistance to hold a pencil correctly. They need paper to write their many stories and markers to utilize the individual white boards in the room.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
