Special Needs Entrepreneur in Need of Button Machine
Help me give my students with autism more opportunities to expand their Curiosity Shop! We would love to create buttons, magnets, key chains and bottle openers to sell in our Fusion House Curiosity Shop.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At my high school, we have students in our cohort named Fusion House. Our students with a diagnosis of autism, are learning a multitude of vocational skills.
They currently run a shop called Fusion House Curiosity Shop.
This button maker can also make magnets, key chains and bottle openers. This machine will allow us to make our business boom with all of these new products.
Our students learn business skills, financial literacy skills, customer service experience and work readiness skills.
The skills are paramount to our students who will transition out of high school and need to procure employment. We want our students with disabilities to be equipped with the skills to contribute to their communities.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
