Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work at a Title 1 School with minimal funding. It is the end of the year and we are running out of supplies for my Special Education Class. We are a Project Based learning class meaning that each unit we do, we use projects to show what we have learned. We use a lot of white boards and their markers , we use paper, highlighters and more to draw out and research for our plans on our projects.
Hands on and sensory based lessons, make it messy and wipes are a life savor after project time is over!
It is also sniffle season, noses are runny and we are down to our last two boxes of tissue allotted for the school year. We don't need much and anything helps!
All items help support the special needs children in my classroom and go to learners who are our future!
