Special Learners: Special Materials

My Students

I am a brand new teacher in a CDC-A classroom. I will be working with 14 students who have varying needs and disabilities. The funds from this project will ensure we have supplies that accommodate their needs and make the classroom a more comfortable environment!

My Project

Most of my students have significant disabilities that impact learning so the more hands-on instant learning centers they have access to, the more likely they are to absorb the information! I will be teaching US History and Biology over the next six months and am looking for materials that allow for differentiation and engagement so each student can fully participate in lessons. I also want to encourage my students to read and choose books, and the library cart for our books will make them accessible for my students. Thank you for your support!
