Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Varied disabilities call for varied needs. My students need accommodations in many areas, including organization skills and special writing paper to help with penmanship.

My students are a wonderful bunch.

They are in a special needs class and work hard each day to keep up with their general education peers. Although they try hard, many still need assistance in varied areas that may require special supplies that are just not available in our school.

My Project

With seat sacks, students can easily store commonly used materials such as folders and journals that are accessible without having to struggle with the rest of the books in their desks. Supplies such as raised line paper can also help those students who struggle with penmanship due to circumstances beyond their control.

These supplies will make a difference in the way students learn and organize their materials.

Some of the supplies requested are not commonly found in the supply room at our school. Some of the supplies such as scissors and tape that should be found, are not. These materials are important to everyday learning and organization.
