This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Welcome to the inspiring students of room 10. They are a wonderful group of special education students with unique learning styles. My students will greatly benefit from this ipod because they require adaptations to the materials available to them.

My students are in a severely handicapped special day class, grades 3rd through 5th.

They attend a K-5th elementary school. Students have a variety of special needs and strengths. There is a majority of students at this school on free-reduced lunch and a large number of English Language Learners. The school has great community and pride.

My Project

Access to the general education program is legally required for my students, and rightly so. This iPod will allow us to provide Social Studies, Science, Language Arts and Math materials to be transferred and shared. My student that will benefit the most from this iPod is my student that is visually impaired. This will help open up the world to her and she will have greater access to all the subjects she loves.

I am so excited to bring each one of my special needs students to his or her greatest potential.
