Once they realized the vests were all different, the students preferred to play with the different dress-up vests. \r\nThanks to your generosity, papers in the classroom are now laminated and posted. We use these items during Purposeful Play. \r\n\r\nSince we have 22 students, the rectangular carpet gets too crowded, so the students love the individual carpet spots while reading. \r\n\r\nIn addition, they love the Llama Llama books so much! This series of books is one of their favorites!\r\n\r\nHaving all these developmentally appropriate resources to enhance their learning is a true blessing and as you can see in their faces, my students are overjoyed. \r\n\r\nThank you for this amazing gift that has made my students shine with happiness and gratitude.","fullyFundedDate":1762136000321,"projectUrl":"project/lets-have-some-purrposeful-play-in-k/9739837/","projectTitle":"Let’s Have Some PURRposeful Play in K!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5495081_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1530235649075","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5495081"},{"teacherId":9719100,"projectId":9755830,"letterContent":"My current STEAM project has had a significant impact on student learning. Each morning, students enter the classroom and engage with STEAM bins. Students express their creativity through hands-on building activities. Through the use of LEGO kits, play dough, and art cubes, students demonstrate engineering skills as well as artistic skills. Students were excited about the addition of cushions and lap desks as flexible seating options. This project has encouraged students to collaborate in groups, work with partners, and complete tasks independently. Thank you for supporting the many comfortable seating options available throughout the classroom. I look forward to continuing to expand this initiative by adding more STEAM bins and additional flexible seating options in the future.","fullyFundedDate":1759125664986,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-and-steam-fun/9755830/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating and STEAM Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Villa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9719100"},{"teacherId":1479061,"projectId":9288638,"letterContent":"I would like you to know how the donated technology items have positively impacted my students. When presented with voice-recorded buttons, non-verbal students can now participate, communicate, and make choices by simply pressing a button. In the future, we can use the same buttons to test pre-academic skills. For example, students can identify colors, numbers, shapes, or letters by touching the correct button. Students also enjoy painting. Providing a variety of colors makes each lesson fun and engaging. \r\n\r\nAnother way to help students is by using the printer to create color or black-white worksheets. Students are motivated to color, cut, or construct with worksheets that reflect meaningful information. The printer and the laminate pouches are a great way to create and preserve valuable memories. This year, we were able to print and laminate keepsake items, the Mother's Day project, special holiday crafts, Holiday event pictures, and their preschool certificates.
