Special Education Students Excelling in Mathematics
My students need a new classroom computer to help build math skills.
As Sydney J. Harris once said, "The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows." With Chevron's help my students will be able to create new discoveries in math and science.
Many of my students have learning disabilities and are required to compete with academics well above their abilities.
My students need assistance in helping them understand math and science. They have multiple intelligences and aspirations of graduating from high school, attending college, seeking employment and contributing to society. Many of my students should be able to accomplish this. Despite their disabilities, they will be our future.
My learning disabled students need to pass the math section of the California high school exit exam. With your help they can improve their skills and get the diploma they are striving for. With the help of a Chevron Grant, and a donation of a computer, this will help my students meet this requirement for a diploma.
If my project is granted my students will be able to learn and make connections in math.
My special education students will be able to use hands-on technology in this process. Please strongly consider helping my learning disabled students by granting my project.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
