My Project

I have a good mix of materials to add to my students science curriculum. In life skills we try to make sure they have a good understanding of the basics and basic concepts. We need a bit more for our anatomy section, some manipulatives to understand some concepts that need that hands on boost to get to their understanding. Some reference material for geology, animals, the solar system, and planets. It's nice to have places for the students to go to learn more or just help them relearn the concepts we discuss. it gives them more exposure to these science concepts. I can talk about space and show pictures, but then they can take it to the books and find specific answers to their questions, which is a life skill to be able to research and find needed information. I also have work books to help me make things more engaging.
