This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The special education providers (speech therapist, occupational therapist, etc.) are in need of office materials for the new school year. Title 1 schools have difficulty providing enough resources for their staff and students. The materials will help the service providers to be able to stay organized and work efficiently throughout the school year.

The materials will assist the providers when assessing students and providing therapy to the students.

The paper must be provided by the staff members, making it difficult to print worksheets/homework packets for students, and maintaining parent communication. There are also limited quantities of paper clips, pens, pencils, etc. which makes it difficult when assessing and providing therapy.
