Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The students in my special education classroom are on the verge of an experience of a lifetime. These students have different disabilities and come from different backgrounds in life. Students in my classroom have the possibility to be pushed out into the general education classroom with their same-aged peers full-time. These flexible seating options will help students during small groups by giving them different opportunites to stay focused!

The Montessori learning stations will help students experience learning in a different way rather than pencil and paper.

By involving all of the senses in the learning process, students will gain a kinesthetic aspect of learning. All items are to help my students focus and show progress in their learning pathways. Progress toward being on grade level and progress towards gaining and maintaining skills they will need in their everyday lives.
