Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students who are reading well below grade level. A cozy classroom library will encourage students to read, helping them build foundational reading skills and give them tools to become proficient and confident readers.

The books I need and am hoping to get include wordless books for students who are not yet reading, decodable books to practice the skills they're learning, and read aloud picture books.

Young students like to get comfortable by sitting or lying down with a book. A new clean seagrass rectangular carpet will create a soft and inviting space to read.
