My Project

Special education is a different animal indeed. Ask any educator. My students are in high school now, but they aren't all learning on a high school level. I found these supplies while looking for some solutions for how my class runs every day. One of my biggest hurdles is keeping everyone occupied with an educational activity while I make my rounds to help students on higher difficulty tasks.

My students' abilities to focus and independently finish tasks ranges widely.

For some they need more tasks because they finish quickly, others need a single task that will occupy them for a while, some need things on a very basic level to be able to work independently for even a few minutes. On this list of supplies you will see puzzles, writing books, paper for origami (fine motor work), and more. It may seem random, but I picked each supply with an activity and student in mind.
