Help me give my students a classroom library. The shelving unit will allow me to organize the book bins and the students will have some really great books to read on their own.
My 30 special education students are members of the Oglala Lakota Tribe in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The 3rd & 4th grade students come into my room for pull out services in reading, writing, and math.
My students need a classroom library.
I have purchased a few books but we need a bookshelf. We need your generous help with tubs to organize our books and with more books that are leveled for my students special needs.
My Project
When students need help with reading what better way to encourage them than with books that they can read and access independently. The new shelf will be just the right height that all of my students can reach the books on their own. The book bins will help organize the books.
Special Education students need a classroom library just like the general education classes have.
Reading books that promote kindness goes with the general theme of my classroom.Having access to books written by Native Americans is also very important for special needs students.
