The administration at our wonderful school has approved our request to start a special education coffee shop. This school-based business, this coffee shop will help to give real-world experiences to our special education students in writing, organizing, following directions, and customer service. We have been overjoyed to learn that our administration has helped find funding to purchase the needed equipment however, consumable items are up to us.
With your support, we can more quickly get the needed supplies together.
Students in multiple special education classes will be working together and using these supplies to fill real coffee orders. The funds collected from this business will then go directly back into our class funds to ensure our students can go on educational field trips, and purchase ingredients for cooking lessons. These funds will also help us get more of the everyday classroom supplies needed to make learning engaging for all our learners
