This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, students come from diverse backgrounds, and face challenges such as limited access to resources. By providing these classroom materials such as a tabletop storage center, flexible seating, and resource bins, all students will have the opportunity to participate fully and build confidence in their abilities. Flexible seating helps students with diverse needs to remain focused and providing them choices to engage in the learning task. It also gives them the power to chose how they learn best. Organized bins help students take control of their learning tools. The materials and resources received will be used during classroom advisory lessons and small group activities to encourage collaboration and critical thinking.

These items will make a difference by empowering our students to engage in all learning tasks and activities, enjoying working with their peers and gaining knowledge about new daily concepts.
