My Project

I am a Resource Specialist teacher at our elementary school. I teach k-5 students in the areas of math and reading. I support students with a range of learning needs. My classroom is a dynamic space that serves students with dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and various learning disabilities.

Each day, I work diligently to create a nurturing environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.

Our students thrive with individualized learning plans, specialized interventions, and the use of adaptive technologies that cater to their unique learning styles and challenges.

The supplies that I am requesting will help me create an engaging classroom environment. To enhance our students' access to the curriculum, I am seeking essential supplies that cater to their unique learning styles and challenges. Your support will enable us to provide:

Timers: Essential for helping students with ADHD manage time and stay focused during tasks.

Money Manipulatives: Tools that assist students in understanding and practicing money concepts through hands-on learning.

These supplies are critical in promoting engagement, understanding, and independence among my students. By donating to our classroom, you will directly contribute to the success and development of these exceptional learners.
