Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of our students have special needs. They all require individual and unique ways to learn in the classroom. They each have specific needs, accommodations and alternate activities to be successful in the classroom. The math supplies are hands on and sensory for learning basic math skills. The reading materials are for building words with real objects. The kinetic sand, trays and model magic are for their required sensory breaks throughout the day. The recordable buttons are for alternate ways to communicate. The classroom supplies like pockets, expo markers are for alternative writing activities. The laminating sheets and velcro are for their picture exchange system that gives them alternate responding opportunities. All of these supplies will help my students be more independent in the classroom.
