My students need core wobble chairs to incorporate more movement during learning. Several of my young students would benefit from alternative seating options.

My Students

Sitting still to learn is no longer the norm. Especially among young students with attention and learning problems. Movement is necessary for learning!

Our school is in a small suburb with approximately 48% free and reduced lunch population.

I work with students in kindergarten through second grade with all types of disabilities in a resource room setting. My students are very creative and eager to learn.

My Project

My students need core wobble chairs. The students I work with are active learners with limited attention spans. Having the core wobble chairs as an option for seating will give them the movement they need and improve their core strength at the same time. These chairs will allow them to work at a table for writing, art projects, or fine motor exercises.

Donations will allow me to provide alternative seating options to match the specific learning style of each student that enters my classroom.
