Help me give my students a voice output device. It is battery operated and enables a person to record his or her voice. It is used with nonverbal students or students who are learning to speak.

My Students
My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and opportunities for their children.
We need to get each student the support needed to be successful in the classroom.
A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes, foster homes, other family members and friends' homes, and hotels or motels.
These students and families may not have the financial freedoms to provide extra resources above and beyond what is in the school already. My students work hard and are excited to practice new skills and to learn and grow. By helping provide items, it will help learning run more smoothly and more fun for the students.
My Project
My students need support that goes beyond the classroom. Their needs range from sensory support to speech and language support to physical support, which are provided by occupational, speech, and physical therapists. The alternate resources allow students with disabilities to work through their needs and be supported in the classrooms.
Students need support with their speech and language skills.
A voice output device allows students, both verbal and nonverbal, to access the school environment in an alternative way. It gives students the opportunity to have a voice.
By helping support this grant, students will be able to use this device to participate in the classroom with other peers.
