Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative thinkers, hard-workers with high expectations for themselves. They belong to a Title I school but that never limits them to think outside the box since they are always up for any challenge. They complete love to complete STEAM projects after each unit since it helps them understand the content more in-depth.
My Project
My classes are beautifully diverse and all of my students need English speaking opportunities. They need to practice their academic vocabulary in English. What a better way to practice it using this app "Chatterpix" where it promotes podcasting. Students record themselves speaking. Students will be able to take a picture of their projects (STEM or Labs) then have their picture come to live with their voice! They will speak but the image will look like it's talking. The app cannot be used using their Chromebooks this is why we need an iPad that can download the app. This iPad will enrich my students learning. Thank you in advance for helping this project.
