My Project
My students are lucky recipients of personal devices and are extremely excited to use them. We are looking forward to using the headphones to complete listening and speaking activities. This will be a perfect opportunity for us to Skype with other classes and practice using the language. We find ourselves in the unique position to make connections across curriculum, across subjects, and learning lifelong skills.
As a French teacher, I am often the sole provider of language input for my students; Where else do they hear the French language being spoken?
Using the headphones and microphones will help me tailor instructions and address each student at his/her own level and offer more opportunities for input.
The overall goal is to become proficient, exceed all expectations and be ready to tackle the higher level courses. This project will help my students listen and speak their way to proficiency.
