Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are so amazing! This year the student council students helped us complete 15 events for our campus and community. They worked hard to organize materials, setup for the events, decorate, and clean up afterwards. They enjoyed supporting the events even though the students were completely exhausted when they were finished.
My students need reliable microphone cables and microphones.
During events they were struggling to get the attention of the crowd to direct them to the next part of the event. During our BINGO night the microphones would occasionally not work correctly.
If we have new cables and microphones the students will be able to grow even more proficient with their event planning and community engagement skills.
