Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a speech therapist. My fabulous students love to learn, but need a little extra time and special care to absorb and retain information. Most of the children come from low income households, so they also don't have the tools to facilitate as much language and speech sounds at home. These tools in the articulation kit will give my students a visual, tactile, multisensory way to practice their sounds in a fun way, so they can speak clearly.

Sometimes we all need a little extra step in learning, but it doesn't mean we can't!

The happiness shown on a child's face when they feel success really is the best reward for teaching!
