Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will be used in a variety of lessons creating spatial awareness for primary students. Students will explore space imagining sharks outside of the boundary lines of their movement area. Students at a young age are learning how to monitor their body in relation to others. Polyspots and cones help with activities that teach this. It gives the students a perspective of where they are in space.

The Goal for this project is to give my students needed visuals for spacial awareness.

Example-Walk in a circle doing the Butterfly dance and don't step inside the dots or the sharks will get you.

My students are special because they are appreciative and imaginative. They thrive with visuals and not so much with spoken language.
