My Students
Everyday I get the opportunity to teach art to students in grades K-8 about the importance of art and thinking outside the box. To help my students learn basic art skills my students love using materials that are close to home such as markers and colored pencils. Students have used these materials for various art making projects from creating mixed media monsters in the fall to drawing an imaginative city my young artists have been busy at work creating art.
My Project
Each day I have six classes with very little time in between to clean. My students use a variety of art materials from chalk to paints to making collages. It would be wonderful to have the resources on hand for a fast paced art room to keep my room tidy for each grade level. Some resources that are great to have on hand in a pinch are disinfecting wipes, tissues and baby wipes. These allow my students to not fret about being messy in the classroom because its easy clean up. Other materials that help keep my room tidy is having duster wipes to dust all the cabinets in my art room that are used as art display areas. I would really appreciate any help.
