Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal of this project is to encourage and celebrate positive behavior and academic achievement among my students through a unique approach – class lottery tickets. These tickets will be awarded to students who consistently demonstrate good choices, such as completing assignments, arriving on time, and actively participating in class discussions. The program involves conducting weekly or bi-weekly raffles, where students can use their earned tickets for a chance to win school supplies and small gifts.
By linking rewards to positive behavior, we aim to create a positive learning environment that fosters a culture of diligence and engagement.
This initiative not only motivates students to excel academically but also recognizes their efforts in contributing to a vibrant and supportive classroom community.
The funds requested will be utilized to purchase balloons, bracelets, snacks, small toys, and sunglasses. These prizes that will honor student lottery winners will help ensure an ongoing and sustainable program throughout the academic year. I believe that this initiative will have a lasting impact on my students, promoting a sense of accomplishment and instilling values that will serve them well in their academic and personal lives. I am confident that with your support, we can make a significant difference in the lives of my students and contribute to the overall success of our school community.
