This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have organized my classroom library by interests and not by reading level. Through this process, I discovered that we are lacking books that relate to space, the solar system, robotics, among others.

I want to provide a wonderful learning environment for my students to nurture their interests.

Reading is much more fun when you read those things you want to know more about! The way the classroom library is now set allows students to read by topic interest, and want to make sure I have enough content for all. My 3rd graders will be more enthusiastic to have new titles that will further their love of learning.
