Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are dreamers, tinkerers, and creators. Many have limited access to tools and technologies that allow them to bring their ideas to life, but when given the opportunity, they amaze us with their innovation.
We’re transforming our school library into a makerspace — a hub of innovation where students can design, prototype, and build.
The missing piece? A laser cutter that would allow students to cut and engrave wood, acrylic, leather, and more.
I am requesting a laser cutter and accessories for our library in this project. Access to this laser cutter will take our makerspace to the next level.
