it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Surf-Tastic First Grade Surfers love to express their creativity through art! We try to do a larger scale art project at least once a month, but we are headed into a very busy and creative time of the year! We are about to begin our study of Animals, and with each animal comes an art project ranging from water colored African sunsets to abstract giraffe splatter art! It’s an exciting time to be a creative first grader!
Imagine trying to create something beautiful with broken, dirtied, and dried up supplies!
We have gotten to that point in my classroom. Many of the art supplies in my classroom were inherited from the former teacher in that room or retired teachers. I would love to be able to provide my students with new supplies. This will help make sure we have enough for all, but more importantly, I truly believe the fresh new supplies will spark their creativity and get them even more excited for art!
