Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All students learn in different ways and at different paces, but a traditional classroom doesn't always support the unique needs of our students. Using chromebooks in the classroom makes a huge difference not only in personalizing their learning, but in increasing excitement and engagement.

My students are a motivated and inquisitive bunch.

They love working together, asking questions, and making discoveries. Having laptops in the classroom would foster this curiosity and hopefully a life-long interest in learning. These chromebooks would allow my students to explore the world outside our classroom walls and improve their 21st century skills.

My Project

These five Acer chromebooks are to become an integral part of my classroom. Some of my students require a lot of assistance and repetition to be successful, or they start to feel helpless. On the other hand, many of my students fly through their assignments and can become bored if they are not challenged. These laptops will enable me to have students work on assignments that engage and challenge them, regardless of their levels. My students will learn to use the Internet to do research, Google Docs to write and share their work, Skype to talk to other students.

Having these chromebooks will transform my classroom by allowing me to teach all my students on their level.

The possibilities with technology are truly endless and it will foster independent and lifelong learners.
