Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Building a vibrant, supportive classroom culture is key to my students’ success, and I’m so excited to create a space where learning is full of energy, joy, and connection. By mixing academic support with fun moments, I can inspire my students to believe in themselves, stay motivated, and work together as a team. This project is all about creating an environment where they feel encouraged to thrive every day.
I believe every student deserves a classroom where they can grow, bond, and find joy in learning!
To help make that happen, I’m requesting consumable items like sparkle gel pens, fun and inspiring stickers, sensory stickers for self-regulation, Play-Doh, and squishies—little incentives to help students feel celebrated and motivated to do their best. Additionally, I’m adding games like Phase 10, Uno, Rubik's cubes, brain teasers, and juggling balls, all designed to bring students together, spark creativity, and build strong, lasting friendships.
With these materials, I’m working to create a classroom full of connection, support, and inspiration where students can truly feel at home and ready to learn. Your support will help me make this space a place where students not only succeed academically, but also feel valued and excited to come to class each day.
