Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aims to provide a well-rounded selection of books and a bookshelf to create a welcoming, organized space for a kindergarten and first grade special education classroom. The collection includes Little Spot of Feelings books, Mo Willems' engaging stories, and Little Ninja books, all carefully chosen to support social-emotional learning. These books provide valuable lessons about emotions, friendship, and empathy, helping students understand and express their feelings. The new bookshelf will help organize these resources, ensuring that every student has easy access to books that foster emotional growth, connection, and a love for reading.
