With the addition of these materials, we are now able to target our speech goals in many more ways, with even more supports to ensure success! \r\n\r\nThe students who have been coming to speech all year have been even more excited to come to speech now that we have new things to try out. Students are loving the hands-on manipulatives that they can now use to sort objects into their correct categories, as well as to help them to create associations between objects. These activities are helping students to understand basic linguistic concepts. Students' abilities to answer a variety of WH- questions are improving due to rote practice with our new WH- question cards. My students who are targeting speech sounds are now regularly able to access visual representations of words with the sounds they are targeting. \r\n\r\nMy students and I are so thankful for your kindness, as it is enhancing their eagerness and ability to learn effectively in the speech room. The standing desk has become a favorite spot—students take turns using it during independent work time, and it's been amazing to see how it helps some of them concentrate better.
