This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my self-contained students an art station to explore their creativity and express themselves in a supportive and engaging way!
The specific items I’m requesting, such as markers, colored paper and a variety of craft supplies, will make a meaningful difference in their learning by providing hands-on, sensory-rich opportunities tailored to their individual needs.
These tools will allow my students to explore academic concepts in innovative ways—whether illustrating stories from literacy lessons, visualizing patterns in math, or creating scenes from science units.
My goal for this project is to foster creativity, promote self-expression, and support the development of essential skills like fine motor coordination and confidence.
What makes my students special is their resilience and individuality. Each of them has unique needs and perspectives, and they approach the world with curiosity and determination. This art station will give them the opportunity to explore their abilities, celebrate their differences, and build connections with their peers through creative expression.
