This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help give my kindergarten students an art station to explore their creativity and express themselves through a different medium! The specific items I’m requesting, such as paints, brushes, easels, and craft supplies, will make a difference in their learning by allowing them to engage in hands-on, sensory-rich experiences. These tools will enable my students to explore and reinforce concepts from our various units, from science to literacy, by translating their ideas into visual art. My goal for this project is to foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and help my students build fine motor skills and confidence in their abilities.

What makes my students special is their unique perspectives and curiosity—they’re eager to explore the world around them, and I want to nurture that natural wonder by giving them a creative outlet.
