Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will use colorful boxing gloves and wrist wraps to protect their hands during extracurricular participation in their club, "Boxing and Women's Self Defense."
This club welcomes all participants, and while we do have a collection of used boxing gear and new heavy bags arriving, students currently lack adequate options for gloves and protective hand wraps.
This equipment will allow students to participate safely and more effectively in their new after-school club. This club offers a physical kinesthetic outlet for students while providing great cardio and strength training benefits.
