This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth-grade students are very enthusiastic and passionate for developing their writing skills. They have developed curiosity into writing, and I want to keep lightning their interests. Part of the writing process, my students need help with name referencing, and one way to help them is by providing them with a thesaurus. Students are capable of so many things, we just have to show them the right way into success.

Just like soldiers need resources to fight in the war, my students need a resource to fight at school.

My Project

These resources will make a great impact on my dual language students' writing. My students are preparing themselves to write all types of writing including; narrative and expository. My students struggle to find the appropiate vocabulary to use in their Spanish writing. They tend to use 'boring" vocabulary that lacks communication with the reader. These resources will help my students to use a variety of vocabulary to include in their writing, thus making it outstanding, and expanding their vocabulary skills.

I'm planning on using the thesaurus every single day.

I actually assign writing homework, my students are more than welcome to take a thesaurus home and bring it back.
