Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a wide variety of students Spanish I and Spanish II, study skills, and ABA. This year, I have a delightful group of students in my ABA class where we are working on cooking Spanish items and learning Spanish words.

I would like to make sure my classroom is decorated with motivational posters in the Spanish language so I can support my student´s positive mental health.

These posters will keep a positive focus in my classroom and will help us create a warm loving environment.

Some of my ABA students need these snap together letters so we can spell the basic words of both the English and Spanish language. We are working together to spell the items we are cooking.

I have also included some puzzles and activities the students can do if they need a break or to calm down and some bilingual activities that are appropriate for their academic level.

These students are a blessing to both me and the school. They always have a smile on their face and want to please the teacher and others. I want to make sure they are rewarded for their hard work and to have a positive classroom environment for them to be in every day. The Spanish Calendar and Hispanic Heritage Month decorations can be used year after year.
