This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our student champions are ready for success. In our school, he has three different programs: Dual Language, Creative Arts, and Special Education. Through these programs, students have the opportunity to develop their language, creative and social skills while learning the content. They are full of energy and they can not wait to be back in the building to keep learning together.

Virtual Learning is being a challenge for many of my students because most of them are economically disadvantaged.

My Project

In order to support Virtual Learning instruction and in-person instruction in our school, we are designing interactive resources for different relevant times such as: Read across America Day, Black History Month, College and Career Week, Friendship day, Earth day...

Finding free good resources about these topics in English and in Spanish is hard so why don't getting them from a teacher resource-created website?

By carefully selecting the resources, we will be able to give our students quality resources that better adapt to their learning style and interests and at the same time support other teachers´ hard work.
