it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This organizer will help my Spanish Dual Immersion students to have a place where they can daily find their Spanish books to read in the classroom. My students and I thank you for your kind donation that will help furthering our children's education at Windsor Elementary. I have 64 students who come from underprivileged families, migrant children barely coming to the country, and other minorities with little to no resources that will benefit from your donation. I am planning on my students having access to good literature placed everyday in their mail boxes that will help them learn how to read and write in both Spanish and English. Also, this resource will serve them to acquire skills in writing since I am planning on helping my students how to write in Spanish. This will benefit them because the majority of my immigrant students have Spanish as their home-based language. In the mailbox, I will put daily task so they can work with me and independently how to transition and start writing in both English and Spanish. My students need a place to organize their learning material and this piece of furniture will help them have everything they need to learn in a very organized manner. Finally, mail and communication from our school and community will get placed here for easy access.
